Imagined during the NYC quarantine. Conceived whilst in the summer of chaos. Birthed in the dark winter. More of an instrumental album than a beat tape, “Keep This Far Apart”, NasteeLuvzYou’s first release on Millennium Jazz Music, walks the line of hip hop & jazz duality. A beautiful combo of complex arrangements with hard hitting boom bap, this set of instrumentals smacks out the gate and gets melodically smooth when needed. The experience starts with “So Below” and ends with “As Above” following the concept of equality from the lowest point to the highest peak and promoting togetherness within and without.
