about

Today we celebrate life and honour our late brother Marvin Topliss, also known as the emcee legend Slugga Tee.

SLUGGA TEE

About:
Emcee - You never knew what you were going to get with
Slugga Tee, be it from his hilarious tongue in cheek rhymes, to deep, dark or heartfelt lyricism. He was one of the first artists work with us back in 2004 and he was without a doubt the craziest sane person in the MJM squad.

Having appeared on many mixtapes, albums and stages over the years by himself, MJM, and while making moves on the Hip Hop scene with his former group 12” Matter, the South Coast based emcee had supported various artists including the likes of Jehst, Conspicuous, Sir Smurf Lil, Skinnyman and The Lo Fidelity all-stars ..to name a few!

Releases Include:
- Dirtbag Committee - ‘Dirty As Sin’ a super-group album which received 4 stars in HHC (feat Qred, Junior Disprol and Fatclub and others)

- 12” Matter - ‘Sunshine Coast’ original & Evil Ed Remix 7”
single released on Evil Ed’s Hidden Identity record label which
received single of the month in DJ Magazine. We just bought one off Discogs!

- Passage From The Puddle EP, which was the last project Slugz had put together before going on hiatus. Slugz had planned on returning to the mic with a reinvented style because although everyone loved to shed tears of laughter with the super lyrical and witty Slugga Tee style, he himself was slowly getting ready to write and share a more serious side of his lyricism that he also did just as well.
