I guess 1969 was a great year in Jazz as these samples are dope!
The standout track to me is "When Music's Playin" which I think is Gadgets best track to date. Its cool, its hip and a head nodders dream.
As Phife Dawg said "My shit is lovely simply meaning that my joint is tight" Favorite track: When Music's Playin'.

Ladies and gentlemen may we present Sidenote - The Jazz Jousters dig 1969. This is simply a little project which is in similar fashion to our earlier tribute albums from our first three seasons. However, in this case the Jazz Jousters were each challenged to get digging in the crates and work with Jazz music from the year 1969 and come up with something in their own style. With the result of sixteen tracks to come out of this challenge it's safe to say it was a worthwhile session to get the creative juices flowing.

We hope you like this one!!

Oh but there's more... keep an eye out in December for the 7th anniversary 12" album which will follow this one to close the year.
Then we'll have the long awaited Locations: Russia in the new year as we get back on track to complete the five part Locations vinyl series which started with Locations: USA: bit.ly/LocationsUSA
