Welcome to season 2 of the Jazz Jousters sessions. We were originally planning to take a breather, but many of you good people out there, be it in the flesh or via cyberspace, were not ready for that just yet. So let’s jump straight into part one (or 11 if you like) with the Jousters sampling Vibraphonist Milt Jackson’s ’I’ll Wind’ recorded in1957 for Blue Note Records.
‘I’ll Wind the Jazz Jousters’ features the usual mix of experimental style from the likes of, Mr. Moods, Gadget, Es-k, Bones The Beat Head, Blue Buttonz, Jaze Baqti, DJ Mentos, B Ramsey (of The Specialists) & B 3 N B i.
The next session should kick off tomorrow and be ready for you on Sunday 18th November on Millennium Jazz Music. We’re yet to select an artist to pay homage to, but if you want the heads up on that then keep an eye on the Jazz Jousters update page. For now we hope you enjoy the above, the previous releases, and you keep Jousting!
